    I bloom for an extended period in the early part of the summer.

     

    I bloom in the early morning and close up during the heat of the day.

    I bloom the same time as Foxglove Beardtongue (Penstemon digitalis). We look very pretty planted together.

    I’m adaptable and can grow in difficult spots in full sun.

    The Xerces Society lists me as ‘special value to native bees.’
